The festival is strategically designed to raise awareness about the diverse spectrum of research activities in Kenya and internationally. It aims to encourage collaboration on both domestic and international fronts, providing a conducive space to instilling principles of robust leadership in research and elevating the overall research culture. The festival places a primary focus on interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary research, encompassing current and future initiatives that contribute to the realization of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

There will be television and radio shows structured around the latest innovative technologies in research and their impact on socio-economic development
There will be a judging day for poster presentations and exhibitions. The best will be awarded by the Chief Guest.
Supporting the President’s 15 billion vision by 2032, the Fund will plant 30,000 trees nationwide, with one planted by the President.
The festival will feature workshops offering participants valuable insights, skills, and knowledge on various research-related topics.
