YSK’s centerpiece activity, the National Science and Technology Exhibition, provides a unique platform for Kenyan youth from every county to demonstrate their capacity for innovation and research, and showcase their scientific talents.Now in its 7th edition, this year’s hybrid exhibition will be held in partnership with the National Research Fund (NRF). Under the theme ’Developing Sustainable Solutions for Climate Change’, YSK will bring together, both physically and virtually, over 1,000 students from 390 schools drawn from 47 counties to showcase science, innovation, and research projects competing under four categories; Technology, Social and Behavioural Sciences, Biological and Ecological Sciences, and Chemical, Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
The top 100 finalists will be invited to exhibit their projects in Nairobi
during the Kenya National Research Festival and 24 winning projects will be selected and awarded
trophies, cash and goody bags from our partners, with a Strathmore University STEM
scholarship and trip to Ireland being offered to the overall winners.
